Rumanos y magrebís quieren sus religiones en la escuela
* Casi 2.000 niños del Magreb y más de 3.000 de Rumanía están escolarizados en la provincia
* Los musulmanes y ortodoxos reclaman su derecho a poder acceder a su religión al igual que los católicos
Magrebís y rumanos, los inmigrantes con mayor presencia en las aulas, piden estudiar su religión en la escuela. Casi 2.000 magrebís y más de 3.000 rumanos están matriculados en centros docentes de la provincia, pero no tienen acceso a clases de su religión.
Boughaleb Mimi, portavoz de la Asociación de Inmigrantes Marroquís, argumentó que en caso de que se imparta cualquier religión en horario lectivo, el resto de religiones deberían poder tener derecho a ello y no le consta que en ningún colegio se esté impartiendo religión islámica. En su opinión, hay "hipocresía social". "Se habla del derecho de los padres a poder elegir la educación religiosa de sus hijos pero cuando se trata de minorías no se puede optar", dijo.
Los centros educativos consultan durante el proceso de matrícula acerca de la opción religiosa que los padres desean para sus hijos. Y ya hay padres en Castellón que piden religión islámica u ortodoxa. Es el caso de los padres de alumnos del colegio Jaime I de Castellón. "Alguna vez han pedido religión musulmana y ortodoxa", explica el director, Victorino Bartoll. El problema es que a lo mejor hay "uno o dos alumnos por clase" que demandan una opción minoritaria, lo que impide, según explicó, contar con un profesor.
10 ALUMNOS, MÍNIMO El motivo, según la Administración, es que no alcanzan el mínimo de 10 alumnos en un mismo nivel para poder impartirla. De hecho, fuentes de la Conselleria de Educación argumentaron que no se ha dotado de ningún profesor porque no se conoce una demanda igual o superior a 10 alumnos por nivel. La mayoría de estos inmigrantes que profesan otras religiones acaba decantándose por la Alternativa.
Otra razón es la falta de profesorado que pueda impartir estas enseñanzas. "No puedo dar clase en un colegio porque mis estudios de Rumanía no son reconocidos por el Estado Español", explica el Pope ortodoxo de la Iglesia de San Nicolás de Castellón, Adrian Nicodine.
Los padres de familia rumanos han mostrado su preocupación acerca de la opción que deben cursar sus hijos en la escuela. "A veces llaman por teléfono y preguntan si pueden estudiar religión católica. Yo les digo que lo pueden hacer sin problemas porque prácticamente son iguales en lo fundamental", explicaba el Pope ortodoxo.
Aun así, el presidente de la Asociación Rumana Castellonense, Daniel Ionita, indicaba que les gustaría que estas religiones pudieran ofertarse en algún colegio, y recordó que aunque un 90% de los niños rumanos profesan la religión ortodoxa, también los hay que son protestantes.

Otra cosa, pero como se puede exigir la instauración de otra religión en un colegio público. Cuando venga a España un niño japonés o chino que exija tb. el taoismo y confucionismo, no te jode.
